-===== Mental Health =====
-**IG/FB/LI:** Amidst the never-ending chase for success, we often ignore our mental well-being. @RP_hospitality student @Mohamad Harris reminds us that “good mental health is the key to having a better quality of life, allowing us to lead rewarding, productive lives and build emotional resilience.”
-
-As an advocate for mental wellness at RP, Harris is enthusiastic about increasing awareness for mental well-being. As part of a class project, Harris put together a hybrid event that promoted the importance of self-care, especially for people who experience feelings of isolation. In addition to a mini-podcast and skit, Harris also conducted a video interview with @Yvette Lau, an RP counsellor who shared tips on spotting signs of anxiety or depression in others and how to convey empathy when talking about these difficult issues.
-
-“It’s okay to set boundaries and take breaks to recharge yourself, including taking my own breaks for self-care, before helping others,” Harris said.
-
-What are some of your tips on maintaining self-love and self-care? Share in the comments below.

-===== Internship Abroad =====
-**IG/GB/LI:** @Nur Arianti Amalina Roslan, an @RP SMC alumna, recently moved from Singapore to join @LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort as a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager. When asked how her RP education had prepared her, she said, “RP’s problem-based learning creates an environment for quick thinking within collaboration, which prepared me to adapt quickly to work environments, different working styles of people, and presentations. Also, moving to Johor was a huge change for me, but my six-month overseas internship in Jakarta helped me greatly due to the similar challenges I once faced and now overcame.”
-
-Nur Arianti's journey demonstrates how RP's strong industry partnerships, both locally and overseas, help equip students with the necessary problem-solving skills that are needed to meet real-world challenges.
-
-Ms @Engie Ho, Interim Human Resources Director at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, said, “Nur Arianti came to Merlin Entertainments (parent company of Madame Tussauds Singapore and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort) first as a part-timer and has since progressed through the ranks to an L&D manager at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. I’m tremendously proud of what she has achieved.”

-Share your RP story with us and let us know how RP has made a lasting impact on your life!

-===== Reflections =====
-**IG/FB/LI:** A peek into @RP’s Operation Theatre’s upcoming production, “Ah Boy and the Beanstalk”, presented as part of RP’s annual @Reflections Arts Festival.
-
-The play is a whimsical adaptation of the classic fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk", written by veteran playwright, @Haresh Sharma. Exploring the larger-than-life sides of Singapore through the eyes of Ah Boy, Operation Theatre hopes to “connect with audiences through relatable topics, such as how social media creates a false reality for some”, shared @How Jing Yi, a performer from @RP SMC.
-
-Jing Yi explained that “it is important to embrace our vulnerabilities and diversity, so that we can co-exist with others”, which is also the theme of this year’s Reflections Arts Festival.
-
-Operation Theatre is also incorporating a sensory show for people with special needs, deliberately dimming lights and reducing sounds to prevent sensory overload. Audiences will also be able to make use of objects such as Orbeez balls to soothe their theatre experience. “We designed the whole space and performance to be a safe environment where they will not be overwhelmed”, shared @Noor Juhaidah, who studies at @RP XXX and also serves as the producer for the show.
-
-Catch Jing Yi and Noor Juhaidah in action at the upcoming Reflections Arts Festival held at The Republic Cultural Centre (@rp_trcc). Visit https://for.edu.sg/reflections for more information.
